About LIMCHA

Bridging Chaozhou and Singapore

LimCha is a Singapore-based teahouse dedicated to the practice, sharing, and education of Teochew Gongfu tea culture, with a focus on spring-harvest Dancong oolong from Phoenix Mountain.

Founded as a living tea table rather than a commercial tea counter, LimCha bridges tea culture between Chaozhou and Singapore, bringing heritage tea knowledge into the everyday lives of a contemporary tea community.

At LimCha, tea is not rushed. Each cup is brewed with care, time, and attention, allowing its aroma, structure, and aftertaste to unfold over multiple infusions. The tea table becomes a space to slow down, observe, and connect.

Beyond daily tea service, LimCha offers educational programmes, cultural workshops, and curated tea experiences through guided tastings, storytelling, Gongfu tea demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

Rooted in lineage and shaped by Singapore’s multicultural context, LimCha is where Teochew tea culture continues to live, evolve, and be shared with intention.

Our Community

LimCha was founded not only as a teahouse, but as a place to bring people together through tea.

Over time, a tea community naturally formed around the table. What began as small conversations over shared cups grew into a space where tea lovers, curious newcomers, creatives, and cultural practitioners could gather, learn, and connect. This community continues to shape how LimCha grows and evolves.

We regularly host tea appreciation sessions, where guests are invited to experience Gongfu tea in a guided yet welcoming setting. Beyond these sessions, LimCha has also organised tea gatherings and event activations for clients and partners, creating tea-led experiences for private groups, cultural programmes, and brand collaborations.

Whether through intimate tastings, hands-on experiences, or larger gatherings, our focus remains the same: to create meaningful moments around tea and to foster a community that values time, intention, and shared experience.

At LimCha, the tea table is open to those who are curious and willing to slow down.

Our community is built cup by cup, conversation by conversation.
